Pinned messages allow users to highlight important messages, make announcements, or temporarily promote content.

To see pinned messages inside Group chats, simply click on the group name beside the group display picture and you will see the Group Information.

Click on the “Pinned Messages” option.

Pinning a conversation in Linework Chat means you are marking a specific chat or message—be it a single chat, group chat, or Bloop chat—as a priority, so it stays at the top of your chat list. This feature is designed to help you quickly access important or frequently used conversations without scrolling through your entire chat history.

Locate the “Chat” icon in the bottom menu and click on it.

Locate the conversation or message you might want to pin.

From the chat list:
To pin a conversation, swipe left on the conversation from your chat list to reveal options, and click on the "Pin" icon. Once pinned, the conversation will appear at the top of your chat list, marked with a pin icon for easy identification.
To unpin a conversation, swipe left on the pinned conversation in your chat list to reveal options and tap on the "Unpin" icon. The conversation will then move back to its chronological place in your chat list based on recent activity.

From inside the conversation:
To pin a message, enter the conversation and locate the message you want to pin. Swipe right and tap on the “Pin” icon. Once pinned, the messages will be displayed on the top of the conversation and collected in the pinned message section within the information of the chat.
To unpin a message, click on the pinned message you want to unpin, swipe right and tap on the “Unpin” icon.

Pinning or unpinning a conversation is a private action that only affects your personal chat list. Other participants will not be notified and will not see any changes in their own chat lists.
